Changes to merchant fees

We were made aware of an issue with recouping merchant fees and have taken steps, as a high priority, to adjust payment platforms.

Transactions using a credit or debit card directly with Revenue NSW website or call centre, no longer have merchant surcharge fees applied.

Customers with an established automated payment plan with Revenue NSW using a credit card, will not incur a surcharge fee on any scheduled payments.

Customers who have previously received a notice indicating that a merchant surcharge fee is payable will not have the fee applied on any credit or debit card payments.
